Create a cohesive thread for your life's story utilizing the unique tool of Life Books in this gentle, supportive workshop.
During this five-week course, we will integrate journal writing and mixed media (photos, collage etc.) to create students' Life Books.
Class will begin with a conference call and then utilize a Yahoo group for posting exercises and responses weekly. Class will wrap up with a conference call as well. Participants will need a book to collect their material in; a three ring binder works well for this. Conference calls are tentatively scheduled on 04/04/2011 and 05/09/2011 at 8pm EST, 7pm CST, 6pm MST, and 5pm EST. The instructor may adjust these times to accommodate the needs of the majority of enrolled students.
At the end of the class, students will be able to create clarity in their life story, gain self-awareness and tap into creativity. Participants will create their own life books and learn journal writing tools for future use.
